Alexandra Raisman

Aly Raisman is an American gymnast, who was an athlete and captain in the 2012 fierce Five team as well as 2016 Final Five US Women's Olympic Gymnastics team. Aly Raisman took home three gold medals during the 2012 Olympics which took place in London. She also brought home a bronze on the balance beam. She became an elite American to win the most Olympic medals. The year she was in 2016, along with her partner Gabby Doug were the only Americans to win back-to-back team golds. Silver medals were also awarded in both the all-around individual as well as floor workouts. She took a three-year break between each Olympics to not compete in gymnastics. In addition, she was the gold-winning member of two American gymnastics teams. Her favorite event is the floor exercise. Gymnastics was her first sport she began to learn at the age of two years old. Aly is a member of her local Uniting Against Lung Cancer group in honor of her late grandma. She plans to pursue one in the fashion industry and hopes to broaden her famous line of leotards as well as socks in the future. Fierce is a novel that she's been working on, is scheduled to be released later in the year.
